My Story

Otherworldly "showgurl". Poi spinner and beginner theremin fiddler. Disco dolly #1. Writer, director, and concoctor of intriguing adult beverages.

Alexandria Boddie is a Dallas-born, LA-based performance artist, model, and creative director. She attended the University of Southern California, studying Fine Art Photography and Animation, in hopes of one day working for Pixar - a dream of hers since viewing "Toy Story" when she was fourteen years old.

Upon graduating and beginning her performance art career, she found herself being cast in local runway shows and music videos. Alexandria began formal acting training after being booked in her second commercial. To date, she has trained in Meisner acting technique, performance capture acting, Suzuki Method, and Viewpoints.
She is a self-styled "Mastress of Ceremonies" interested in creating and developing immersive nightlife and theatre platforms for her audience.
Alexandria routinely taps into her skills as a dancer, professional bartender, professional photographer, visual artist, freelance event stylist, and writer to inform her projects and collaborations. October 2017 saw her very first production of The Function - an immersive nightlife concept that she developed and produced with help from various actors, singers, and other talent, with the hope of re-iterating it on a larger scale in the near future.
After a lifetime of tinkering, Miss Boddie began seriously writing and releasing songs in 2018. She draws inspiration from several musical genres that have influenced her through the years, writing lyrics for bluesy metal and rock and roll songs. Additionally, she uses theremin to produce high-concept yet accessible electro-based tracks that evoke feeling, good times, and outer space. You can find Alexandria’s music on Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, and more.
