Evening Eclectica: an Aux Cord Session

Something new, something way cool, something for those of us who place a high value on intimate groups over big social settings... recently I learned of a new collective called Creew. They were looking for leaders and creators to help cultivate their budding Discord platform where people can bond over shared love of music, of books, of gardening, of just about anything you can name. The music sessions, they're referring to as Aux Cord Sessions. So I pitched an idea: 

Evening Eclectica - a one-hour journey through alternative musical genres and stories, hosted by ME, on the first Monday of every month at 7pm Pacific.

Our initial session was just last week. Here's the tracklist that I shared with the group:

Here's why...

Yes, for the most part, I'm a metalhead, a garage rock showgirl, a raver, and a darkwave junkie. But if you've been following my playlisting profile on Spotify for any length of time, you'll see all the seeds planted that shaped and influenced my music tastes. It's these seeds that I want to share with the world, low key, calm, at the end of the first working day of the week and month. 

We are all multifaceted, yet sometimes, we reach a point in life where music discovery is no longer something we can spend real time on. 

That's where Evening Eclectica comes in.
